Update your business listings to drive more traffic to your RV Park

Learn how to update your business listings to drive more traffic to your park

Taking 1 hour to create or update your campground’s business listings is an important way to help people find your park online. These listings can show your campground on map apps, RV park directories, travel websites, and review platforms.

When possible, add your website and your Park booking link so guests can book a site online right away.

Before You Start

Have this information ready:

  • Campground name
  • Address and phone number
  • Website URL
  • Park booking link
  • Business email
  • Hours of operation
  • Photos of your park, sites, amenities, entrance, office, and signage
  • List of amenities, such as full hookups, Wi-Fi, laundry, showers, pet-friendly sites, cabins, or tent sites

Try to keep your name, address, phone number, and website the same across every listing. This helps guests find the correct campground and reduces confusion.

Below is a list of RV park, campground, and business platforms that you can update to make it more likely you will be found when people are searching for a place to stay while on the road. If you toggle open each section, we’ve provided instructions on how you can get listed on that specific site.

Global Listing Platforms

Google Maps / Google Business Profile

Google allows businesses to manage their listing and add booking links through Google Business Profile. Google’s help documentation notes that businesses can add their own booking link from the Bookings section.

  1. Go to Google Business Profile.
  1. Click Manage now.
  1. Sign in with your Google account, or create one.
  1. Search for your business name.
  1. If your campground already exists, follow the steps to claim it.
  1. If it does not exist, add your business and complete the required information.
  1. After your listing is set up, click “Bookings”.
  1. Select “Add a link”.
  1. Paste your Park booking link into the “Booking URL” field.
  1. Save your changes.

Apple Maps / Apple Business

Apple now refers to Apple Business Connect as Apple Business in its current support materials, but many users may still search for “Apple Business Connect.” Apple Business is used to manage business information that appears in Apple Maps and other Apple apps.

  1. Go to the Apple Business portal.
  1. Click Get Started.
  1. Sign in with your Apple ID, or create one.
  1. Search for your campground by business name and address.
  1. If your campground is already listed, follow the steps to claim or manage it.
  1. If it is not listed, choose “Add Place”.
  1. Enter your business details.
  1. Apple will send a verification code to your business using the phone number or business email.
  1. Submit the listing for Apple’s review.

Apple’s review process may take a few days.

Search terms: Apple Maps listing, Apple Business Connect, claim campground on Apple Maps.

Bing Places for Business

Bing Places for Business is Microsoft’s tool for claiming or updating business listings that appear in Bing search and Bing Maps.

  1. Go to Bing Places for Business.
  1. Sign in with a free Microsoft account.
  1. Search for your business by name and location.
  1. If your campground is already listed, click Claim business.
  1. If it is not listed, click Add new business.
  1. If you already have a Google Business Profile, you may be able to import your business details.
  1. Add your business details, website, and Park booking link.
  1. Verify your listing by phone, email, or mail.

Search terms: Bing Places, Bing Maps business listing, claim campground on Bing.

Tripadvisor

Tripadvisor allows business owners to claim their listing, customize listing details, upload photos, and respond to reviews.

  1. Go to Tripadvisor’s business owner area.
  1. Sign in with your Google account.
  1. Simply enter the Business Name and Location, and then click the Search button.
  1. Fill out the required information and confirm.

Search terms: Tripadvisor business listing, claim campground on Tripadvisor, add RV park to Tripadvisor.

Yelp

Yelp lets business owners search for, claim, or add a business listing for free. Yelp’s claim page starts by asking for the business name, and Yelp’s support documentation confirms that claiming a business page is free.

  1. Go to Yelp for Business.
  1. Search for your campground by business name.
  1. If your business appears, select it and follow the steps to claim it.
  1. If it does not appear, click Add to Yelp for free.
  1. Create a free business account.
  1. Enter the verification code Yelp sends by phone, text, or email.
  1. Add your website, Park booking link, hours, photos, and business details.

Pitchup
  1. If you’re already registered, login.
  1. If you’re not yet registered, click the Log In button in the upper right.
  1. Fill in your name and email address and click Start Listing your Property
  1. Fill out the required information and confirm
iOverlander

iOverlander is a mapping app used by travelers to find camping and accommodation locations. The current iOverlander app is available through major app stores.

  1. Go to iOverlander and register or log in.
  1. Find your campground’s location on the map. (The original app was retired in 2025 — for mobile, download the new iOverlander 2 app.)
  1. To add your campground on desktop, right-click the correct location on the map.
  1. Click Add New Place Here.
  1. Complete the form with your campground name, location, amenities, and other details.
  1. Submit the listing.
  1. In the mobile app, open the main menu and tap Add a Place if available.

North American Listing Platforms

The Dyrt (US only)

The Dyrt allows campground owners to claim existing campgrounds and create or manage listings. Their support documentation says campground owners can claim listings through The Dyrt’s claim process.

  1. Log in or sign up for The Dyrt.
  1. Search the map for your campground.
  1. If your campground already exists, open the listing.
  1. Click Claim or Own or Manage a Campground.
  1. Follow the steps to claim the campground.
  1. To suggest edits, open the campground listing and select Suggest an Edit.
  1. If your campground is not listed, use The Dyrt’s add or claim form.
  1. Complete the required information and submit.

ParkAdvisor

ParkAdvisor offers listing management tools for RV park owners and managers, including the ability to manage listings, rates, and discounts.

  1. Go to ParkAdvisor.
  1. Register for an account.
  1. Click Add to database or the available add listing option.
  1. Complete the campground information form.
  1. Click Create to submit the listing.

Search terms: ParkAdvisor listing, add RV park to ParkAdvisor, campground database.

Allstays

Allstays provides campground and RV park listings and includes options to add campground information through its website.

  1. Check the map by clicking here to see if your campground is already listed.
  1. If it is missing, click Add Campground or directly on the map where your site is located.
  1. Complete the required form.
  1. Submit your campground information for review.

Search terms: Allstays campground listing, add campground to Allstays, RV park listing.

RV LIFE Campground Reviews

RV LIFE allows campground owners to claim parks, manage listings, respond to reviews, upload photos, and receive notifications. RV LIFE also provides a process to submit a new campground.

  1. Search RV LIFE Campground Reviews for your campground.
  1. If your campground already exists, open the listing.
  1. Click Own This Campground? or the available claim option.
  1. Follow the steps to claim and manage the listing.
  1. If your campground is not listed, sign up or log in by clicking here.
  1. Complete the form with your campground information.
  1. Click Submit New Campground.

Search terms: RV LIFE campground listing, claim RV LIFE campground, add campground to RV LIFE.

RV Parky

RV Parky is an RV park and campground directory used by RV travelers to find parks, campgrounds, rest areas, and trip stops.

  1. Download the RV Parky app from the App Store(iOS) or Google Play Store(Android).
  1. Search for your campground.
  1. If your park is already listed, check that the information is correct.
  1. If your park is missing or needs updates, choose Suggest a new listing.
  1. Enter the campground address or move the map pin to the correct location.
  1. Add campground details, including name, location, amenities, website, and booking link if available.
  1. Submit the listing for review.

Campendium

Campendium allows campground owners and users to submit missing campgrounds or report updates to existing listings. Campendium’s support page says new or missing campgrounds can be submitted through the Add a Campsite form.

  1. Search Campendium to see if your campground is already listed.
  1. If it is listed, review the information for accuracy.
  1. If the listing needs changes, use the option to report or submit updates.
  1. If your campground is missing, choose the option to add a new place or campsite.
  1. Complete the required form with your campground name, location, type, amenities, and website.
  1. Submit the form for review.

Search terms: Campendium campground listing, add campground to Campendium, update Campendium listing.

Australian Listing Platforms

WikiCamps Australia

WikiCamps is the largest camping database in Australia, with over 65,000 sites listed.

  1. Search for your park on the website or app. If it exists, any registered user can update it —add accurate details, photos, and your booking link.
  1. If your park isn’t listed, create a free WikiCamps account and use the Add a Site option to submit it.
  1. Encourage your guests to leave reviews — WikiCamps is community-driven, so active listings rank higher.

Note: WikiCamps doesn’t have a dedicated owner portal, but keeping your listing accurate and photo-rich makes a big difference.

CamperMate

CamperMate is one of Australia’s most-used road trip and campsite apps, with over 5 million downloads.

  1. Visit the listing page and fill out the contact form, or call (02) 9131 4485 to get your park added. This is the only platform you need to contact directly to get added.

CamperMate reaches a large audience of Free Independent Travelers (FITs) exploring Australia.

Full Range Camping

A free-to-join Australian camping directory with over 11,000 listings and 114,000+ members.

  1. Click Join for Free, then Register for Free
  1. Fill out the required information and confirm.
Find a Camp
  1. Click “Register” in the upper right corner
  1. Fill out the registration fields and click Register
  1. Once you’ve created your account, add your business and park details, including your website and Park booking link.
MyDriveHoliday

A free-to-join Australian camping directory with over 11,000 listings and 114,000+ members.

  1. Scroll down to “Are you a Caravan Parks Owner?” and click Contact Us
  1. Fill out the required information and confirm.

Tips for Better Listings

To get the best results from your listings:

  • Use the same campground name, address, and phone number everywhere.
  • Add your Park booking link anywhere the site allows a booking, reservation, appointment, or website link.
  • Upload clear photos of your sites, cabins, roads, bathrooms, office, and amenities.
  • Include important amenities campers search for, such as full hookups, pull-through sites, Wi-Fi, laundry, showers, pool, dog park, or lake access.
  • Check your listings a few times per year to make sure details are still correct.
  • Respond to reviews when the website allows it.

Keeping these listings up to date can help more campers discover your campground, visit your website, and book online through Park.
