Google Ads Management lets you run Google Ads for your park without managing the campaigns yourself. You complete a short setup in your Admin Dashboard, and our advertising partner builds, launches, and optimizes the campaign for you.
Google Ads puts your campground in front of campers who are actively looking for a place to stay. They help you reach new guests, fill empty sites, and grow your revenue. Results vary by location, but most participating campgrounds see a positive return on investment within 2 months.
In this article, we’ll explain how Google Ads Management works, what it costs, and how to set it up from your Admin Dashboard.
How Google Ads Management Works
- You set it up. In your Admin Dashboard, you connect your Google Ads account and enter your initial campaign details. This takes about 5-10 minutes.
- Our partner launches your campaign. Within a week, our advertising partner takes your information and builds and launches your campaign.
- They keep it running. From there, they continuously manage and optimize your campaign, with no work on your end.
What It Costs
You choose the daily budget you’re comfortable with. We generally recommend $10 to $25 per day.
- Ad spend: you pay Google directly for your ads.
- Management fee: our advertising partner charges a 20% management fee on your ad spend, billed monthly through your dashboard.
Set Up Google Ads

From your Admin Dashboard, go to Settings and select Google Ads Management.
2. Click Get Started
Review how Google Ads Management works and what it costs, then click Get started. This connects your campground to our advertising partner.
3. Complete the Setup Steps
Follow the on-screen steps to connect your Google Ads account and enter your initial campaign details. This takes about 5-10 minutes.
4. Your Campaign Goes Live
Our advertising partner builds and launches your campaign within a week. After that, they keep managing and optimizing it for you.
Once you’ve set up Google Ads Management, your park also earns the Set up Google Ads badge in Camp Counselor.
What Information Is Shared
When you click Get started, your campground is connected to Reach, our advertising partner. Park shares your guests’ contact details and bookings with them so they can report which ads led to reservations.
