Duplicating a reservation allows you to quickly create a new reservation using the same details as an existing one. This is especially useful when you want to:
- Recreate a seasonal or long-term reservation for next year
- Copy guest information and invoice items to a new reservation in a different site
Instead of entering everything manually, the Duplicate Reservation feature lets you copy reservation details in just a few clicks.
π How to Duplicate a Reservation
To open the Duplicate Reservation window, locate the reservation on the reservation calendar and either:
- Right-click the reservation and select Duplicate Reservation, or
- Click the reservation to open it, then click the three dots (β―) in the top-right corner of the slide-over and select Duplicate Reservation.
This opens the Create Reservation window, with some information copied over from the original.
βοΈ Choose What to Duplicate
In the window, you can choose which information to pull over from the original booking:
- Arrival & Departure - reservation will use the same arrival and departure dates - you will need to choose a new site
- Site (next year) - reservation uses same site and dates, but for next calendar year
- Guest info - uses all current guest info for duplicate (e.g. name, email, etc.)
- Invoice info - copies discount, tax/processing fee toggle settings, line items, add-ons & deposit
After selecting your options, click Next and then Create Reservation.
ποΈ Example: Duplicate a Long-Term or Seasonal Reservation
The duplicate feature is especially useful for seasonal guests who return each year.
When duplicating a long-term reservation, the system will automatically suggest:
- The same site
- One year later from the date of the copied reservation
Steps
- Right-click the long-term reservation.
- Click Duplicate Reservation.
- Confirm and adjust the new date range.
- Verify the reservation type (ex. Seasonal Electric).
- Click Create Unpaid Reservation.
The system will create a new reservation for the following year with the same details.
